This old cow shed has recently been converted into a cosy one bedroom studio. Having been relined, insulated, with new chattels throughout, it has come a long way from its Cow Shed beginnings... The cottage is set a small beef farm, just a five minute drive from Takaka. If Biking is your thing, we have several top class bike tracks close within 3km, plus a bike path to both Town and Pohara. Small weber BBQ provided for cooking outside and microwave inside. Doesn't feel cramped. No internet access, but this is kind of nice so that you can disconnect. Handy location to Takaka town and Pohara/Tata beaches. Lovely to eat dinner on the deck while listening to birdsong, but bring bug spray. If the place had fly screens that would make it even better, as in the summer it warms up and retains the heat, but you don't want to leave the doors open because the mosquitoes come in with the fresh air. ##### Cashan B.
