This property is unique in many ways. It's tucked away a bit, yet conveniently located near Lake Conroe. Our home sleeps a total of 6 people with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, as well as a sofa/couch in living room for extra guests. The 2nd bedroom (or sleeping area) is located in the loft. The living room sofa has been reported as not the best for sleeping, so should you have an additional guest or two, you may consider requesting a queen air mattress prior to check-in. There are smart TVs in all rooms. Guests also have access to host’s 5 acre main property a couple blocks away w/ a private swimming pond, sand volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes, etc. This property is totally fenced in, when all gates are closed, and we have an additional fenced in area to the right of the house to put your pups, when gates are opening and closing. There is also a 2nd Unit on property next to our Cedar Shack home called The Side Pocket that sleeps 4 guests with a queen bedroom on 2nd level, plus a sofa bed downstairs next to the pool table and kitchenette. The Side Pocket can be an add-on to your Cedar Shack reservation to accommodate family / friends. Message Hosts, Roy & Kelly, for more information as we're still in the process of building the Yellowstone Listing for the the whole property (both units). And, please note The Side Pocket is also available to rent individually, so you may have other guests on-site at the time of your stay. One thing to be aware of though is there is another rental unit on the same property in the same fenced in area. I haven’t went down a waterslide since I was a kid.. it was the first time I got to be in a canoe. We fed the old tortoises, that was so cool!! There were fireflies! The property manager was so hospitable as well as the owner! They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was wonderful. There are so many places to eat that are around you so many fun activities to do that are close. The convenience was outstanding .We rate this a 10 out of 10, and we can’t wait to go back and bring the rest of the family.This just may be our new getaway spot!! It located in a nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It was very clean and comfortable. All amenities you would need were available and close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. This little Cabin was a perfect alternative for a hotel. We travel with our two lap dogs, and they were welcome here. The host and owners were very nice and extremely responsive. I had to find a place last minute, same day and they accommodated me. Then I had to reduce my stay by five days and they had no problem changing the reservation and providing a refund. Wonderful cabin located on a beautiful, secluded property close to Lake Conroe. Cabin interior was very cozy, well decorated and appointed. Enjoying evenings on the porch was very relaxing, the glow of fireflies and sounds of nature all adding to the magical experience. Also need to recognize our excellent hosts who were most helpful and great communicators throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place and these hosts. We’ll definitely be back. ##### Teri M. It was not only clean but it was beautiful, comfortable and very roomy. I have to admit, I will rent this place over and over again! The cabin was very clean, air conditioner froze us out (not a complaint). The owners were extremely accommodating. They are pet friendly which is awesome. A very reasonable price for a very comfortable bed. They do have a 110v outlet for charging your boat which is conveniently located on the front porch.
