And of course, for a day of fun and sun at the beautiful emarald coast private beach, hop on the tram just outside the front door of the Grand Sandestin! The Grand Sandestin welcomes you with gracious architecture and luxurious amenities including a fitness center, swimming pool, and hot tub. Enjoy being adjacent to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, a pedestrian market place that hosts a variety of dining and shopping venues as well as day & night activities for all ages. Community Amenities- Zero Entry Pool, Hot Tub, Kiddie Pool, Elevators, Fitness Room, Luggage Carts, Ice Machine, Coin Laundry Room Resort Amenities- gated community, multiple pools, resort tram, fitness center/spa/salon\*, golf\*, tennis\*, marina, shops, restaurants, entertainment, private beach, free parking, watersports\*, elevators, wifi, luggage carts, ice machine, laundry\* (\*amenity available for additional fee). Complimentary Tram service is included as well as wifi! We also provide a starter pack which includes: hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dish sponge, coffee packs. Once the starter pack runs out the guest is responsible to replenish their stock. Beach Closet This property offers a Beach Closet stocked with complimentary beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie board for use during your stay! Sandestin is a 2400 acre resort like no other in Florida, the south side of the resort fronts the white sandy beaches of the Gulf. The resort offers amenities for every type of person. These amenities include 4 championship golf courses; 14 tennis courts; biking; fishing; kayaking; boogie boarding; restaurants and shopping. The Sandestin Tram makes it easy to get around. We offer a Keurig coffee machine and a jar with k-pods for your use. Once these are gone, you will need to purchase your own pods. Our check-in is at 4pm. Check-out is at 10am. Since you go directly to the unit with your assigned door code, there is no deadline for checking in. You may check-in any time after 4 PM of the check-in day, just like you would at your own vacation home. If you arrive early, feel free to enter into the resort and enjoy the beach and other resort amenities. However, we do not allow early check-in's to the unit especially during high season since the unit is mostly booked back to back and we need extra time to prepare the condo. Please note: Motorcycles are not allowed in Sandestin Resort. The Baytown wharf property has restaurants and shops just steps away from the Condo which was nice. The host responded within minutes when I had a question which was comforting. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. There were many things to do if you wanted or you could just rest and relax. The owners were very quick to answer my inquiries. It was super clean and the beachy decor was great. The location could not be more perfect for our event. The owner was great. We had a little problem with the lock which was user error..ugh!! The location is great and overall the property is pretty nice. The room itself is as presented in the ad. It was very clean, it had great views and the beds were comfortable. Every morning there would be a loud wind like noise coming from the hallway like they had a vent open somewhere but it was very loud and a little spooky sounding. There is a fairly large cleaning fee but you are still expected to take out all trash to the chute and strip all the linens from the beds. We had a hard time with the door code machine, you have to wake up the digital door lock, put the code in then press a button on the side and then press a digital button on the front to get the door open. There were no instructions for this so it took about 10 minutes to actually get in the room. We were told we would not need a code for the gym but we did, it should be the same as the pool and garage code, at least that's what worked for us. The gym and lobby bathrooms are pretty underwhelming when you think of something being '"Grand", they're all pretty dated. The parking garage was poorly constructed and extremely tight even in a mid-size SUV. So if you are a bigger person or drive a large vehicle, good luck, it is a tight squeeze to park and get out of your vehicle. ##### Autumn S. Everything was exactly as described, unit was very clean, and communication with the property owner was 10/10\. Jennifer always responded very promptly and was super accommodating. The location of the unit itself could not have been better- just a couple minute walk out to all the restaurants and everything Baytowne has to offer but just far enough that the noise from the live music and people walking around doesn’t affect you at all.
