« Ibis did not provide breakfast on day 1 and we had to go next door to the sister hotel Mercure. Following day Ibis was supposed to provide breakfast but when we went down tables hadn't been cleared and there was little food. We were told there was a problem with the kitchen and we had to go next door again to the Mercure. That night we went to the bar and it was covered in dirty glasses and the girl behind the bar was barely coping. They seem to have a shortage of staff or at the very least...

« Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly. Ours hosts were so friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere, we have family in Paignton and will 100 percent...

« 2nd visit here so was slightly disappointed with the room this time as the bathroom was tiny and the shower was so small and had a high step to get in it i was unable to use it due to issues with one of my legs so had to strip wash for 3 days and just put my head in when washing hair. »
