« This home is charming and offers everything one might need. It was somewhat elusive to locate in the dark, so I would suggest leaving a light on for guests would make it easier; there's plenty of space for parking. There are stairs leading to the second floor where 3 of the bedrooms are located. Overall, the home is spacious and comfortable. Mary, the landlord lives on the 3rd floor but you wouldn't know it; the only contact we had with her was once as she was leaving; she shares the primary...

« Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. »

« Wonderful property on a wonderful lake. The property manager was responsive and welcoming. We got together with my siblings and our kids. We made a lot of memories on the lake. »

« We came up with my extended family (14 of us) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. The home was STUNNING and there was plenty of room to sleep, eat (indoor dining table and outdoor patio tables seat 16), and hang out. There are coffee makers everywhere too, which my family loved. We quite enjoyed taking out the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets too). The water is shallow for quite a ways out which made swimming easy … and our hosts also graciously provided...

« We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back! »

« The check in was very easy and the kitchen had everything plus more. The place was very clean and comfortable! We had two little girls with us and they loved having toys and books to keep them occupied. Our adult sons and grandson played risk. A few more bath towels would have been nice. Would highly recommend for a larger group. »
