« Stayed at this wonderful house right on the Lake and in the Country Club. Fantastic area to be and so very relaxing. House is perfect for families to stay and unwind . Close to golf and resorts . Quite a few stairs to water , but they have benches along the path for people to rest and take in the views. Fun time was had by all. »

« We had a big family gathering and this house was great. Lots of space for sleeping and the deck was amazing. Only a few blocks from the beach and the hosts made sure we knew activities going on in the community. We felt very welcome and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again! »

« Traveled to the area for the 4th of July weekend. It was busy in all of the lake communities but not “Tahoe busy”. The house decor was very Patriotic. Only the bedrooms have window AC units making the living room/kitchen area less enjoyable with the heatwave California was experiencing. Ceilings fans and extra box fans were appreciated and used. « We had an amazing trip to Lake Almanor for Labor Day. We have been staying with friends for years since our kids were little and now they are older and bringing extras so we needed a second house to fit all of us. This house did not disappoint. John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. « We had a wonderful stay in the house which is in a very quiet place. House is comfortable, very well equipped and the master bedroom is awesome with large windows, you have the feeling to be in the trees. Outdoor is very nice too to appreciate the evenings. « We only wish we could've stayed longer!! This is an amazing cabin in the woods. It is well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable. There are little added touches that really make it special hammocks in the back, a bottle of wine, coloring books for the kids, and maps of the area. I would highly recommend! « We enjoyed our stay at Latitude 40. We were comfortable and close (less than 1 mile) to our venue. There were a number of choices for a place to eat, as well as a nearby grocery store. There were good kitchen facilities and adequate cooking supplies. The host had provided coffee and tea choices and 2 different coffee machines (including a Keurig for both coffee and tea). And the host provided a basket with a good selection of snacks. We would consider a return visit. »
