« A lovely hotel with excellent food and staff. The only reason I can't give it a straight 5 stars is that the lighting in the public areas, and in our room at least , was poor. Lots of bare LED lamps which produced a lot of glare but not much in the way of illumination and lots of shadows. It became quite hard on the eyes. »

« Hotel is a fabulous property and has a felling from another era. Staff are helpful and friendly and service was great. Rooms were clean and everywhere felt well kept. We only had one issue and that was with the bed mattress as it was a wire sprung mattress and felt very uncomfortable to us as we prefer modern hybrid mattresses. This would not stop us from staying here again as everything else was great. »

« We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The...

« Property is beautiful, and very comfortable in a lovely position. However check in and Communication with agents beforehand was awful . Also although the lodge itself was very clean the bedding had not been changed and was dirty , had to wait until next day for it to be changed ; such a shame as it is a beautiful property let down by agents . »
