« Cute little cottage in a quiet little town, down a little side street away from the main road, suited our needs. We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp. I thought the heaters upstairs were too small to heat both the bedroom and the bathroom. Dogs are allowed in the property but not allowed on furniture, nice touch was a little basket with...

Les chambres sont assez spacieuse et la literie confortable, même si cela semble un peu vieillot...(c'est peu être à la mode en Angleterre..?) Toutefois, pour ce tarif on y est bien mieux que dans une chaine d'hôtel style F1... Bref pour un séjour sans se ruiner sur Durham et sa région, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! »

« The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little...

« We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together »

« We spent two magnificent weeks in the Dunkeld Cottage. The house is so lovely and very comfortable. All the household appliances are in the cottage (washing machine; dishwasher..) We liked very much the style. The cottage is located in the Lake District (very nice region) and less than two hours , you can reach Liverpool Manchester Newcastle the Scotland and the fabulous Hadrian's wall Nous avons passé deux semaines magnifiques à Dunkeld Cottage dans une maison typique et très confortable....
