Very nice place to stay with big rooms. Excellent staff. Only draw back was that the bathtub was very shallow so not the luxury experience one would expect at this kind of hotel and price.

Schönes Hotel mit Schwächen
Unsere Erwartung war doch luxoriöser und dem recht hohen Preis entsprechend gut. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Gebäude auch sehr schön. Trotzdem konnte das Hotel nicht ganz überzeugen, es nicht sauber genug war und das vollmundige Versprechen eines besonderes Früthstücks nicht eingehalten wurde. Das Frühstück war "guter" Standard. Wir hätten mehr Vielfalt erwartet, tägliche Abwechslung und auf einem Weingut auch ein Gläschen Sekt. Preis / Leistung haben insofern nicht gepasst.

The staff are simply a delight. The tasting room had a great vibe to it with knowledgeable staff. Nothing was to much and it leaves you with a sense that everyone is important. Also the marshmallows around the fire was a winner.

Raquel is excellent with guests, local wines great in the lounge. Pool was cold, and overall it feels drafty in cold weather. Bed perfect, room huge, shower epic. Dining was booked out with no room for house guests.

Beautiful property among the vines, with lots of space to walk and plenty of activities (pool, tennis court, library etc). The property was recently renovated, however there is quite a mix of old features (e.g. the pool) that require updating to compete with other properties in the area. As this is a popular wedding reception venue good to check whether or not your stay will conflict with another wedding. The food options were spectacular, but make sure to book ahead if you'd like to go to the dining room for dinner. The cellar door was good for a relaxed meal.

The property and surroundings are beautiful. However we were disappointed to find the pool and spa were not working. It was even more disappointing because we hadn’t been told in advance, and found out after we had made our way down for a swim. Otherwise, everything was lovely. A big shout out to the lady (sorry, can’t recall her name) working in the cellar door and restaurant who does an exceptional job!
