Un séjour des mille et une nuit
Première expérience à Marrakech pendant une semaine en février 2017, en couple avec notre fille de 12 ans. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par le manager Mohamed, très serviable, souriant, et surtout très compétent. Le Riad Melhoun & Spa est un endroit magnifique, au coeur du célèbre quartier de la Médina. D'un décor marocain-andalous raffiné, nous avons été enchanté par ce lieu magique. Toute l'équipe de cet établissement est à féliciter pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Au calme, nous avions un très belle chambre (suite junior), nous prenions notre petit déjeuner copieux et diversifié sur la terrasse ensoleillée, dans un havre de paix. Nous avons pu visiter les incontournables de Marrakech, les principaux lieux culturels et historique. Ce Riad est particulièrement beau, vraiment. Mention spécial à Mohamed et toute son équipe qui n'ont pas ménagé leurs efforts pour rendre cette escapade marocaine inoubliable. Nous reviendrons dans ce pays très attachant, et ce sera au Riad Melhoun & Spa.

Nous n'aurions pas pu mieux rêver pour nos 10 ans de mariage. L'hotel est idyllique avec des chambres manifiques, le personnel extêmement gentil et prévenant, et le petit-déjeûner est un délice de surprise. A recommander sans hésitation!

Riad fantastique avec un personnelle parfait!!!!!
Un sejour absomument genial non seulement la proximite du souk et de la place jemaa el fna mais surtout par ce riad magnifique. Vous serez accueilli peut etre par Nour eddine,non seulement c'est une personne trés proffessionel qui connait tout sur marrakesch mais surtout sa gentillesse et fais tout pour que vous passiez un exellent sejour . Allez y les yeux fermes vous ne serez pas decu,merci a cet equipe du riad qui grace a elle on aura passe de merveilleuse vacances.

This Riad was INCREDIBLE - the only accommodation I'd recommend for Marrakech. We were guests for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. The property was amazing as the decor was exquisite, clean and overall beautiful. The staff was out of this world and as a guest you are treated to amazing people who will take care of you. Nor, Mohammad, Jamal, Abdul, Adeesha, Sahira were above and beyond extraordinary taking care of my friend and me (I saw how lovely they were to other guests as well). I highly recommend eating dinner at the Riad and taking a cooking class from Adeesha, Sahira and Jamal - it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The Riad was our oasis within a very hectic city. Once we walked through the front door, we were treated to a very calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere - we spent most of our time at the Riad for this reason.

This is a remarkable place to stay in Marrakech--a traditional riad in the heart of the Medina dating from 16th century. It boasts a courteous staff, extraordinary decor, beautiful rooms, impeccable service, and superb food. The resourceful staff arranged trips for us with knowledgeable guides both within the city and around the country. Marrakech has recovered entirely from the earthquake and is safe for travelers. Do yourself a favor and stay here rather than in a modern "luxury" hotel that cannot begin to match what is on offer at Riad Melhoun.

From the moment we were met at the door of Riad Melhoun we felt genuinely welcomed - such a lovely retreat from the madness of the Medina! The riad is beautiful - lovely intricate carvings with quiet nooks and crannies everywhere plus a magic roof-top retreat. Our room - Maya - was on the 2nd floor - spacious, really comfortable bed & pillows - and we couldn’t believe how quiet (& dark!) the room was - couldn’t even hear the calls to prayer. We had 2 dinners here - great meals - each dish explained & fantastic service. When I mentioned that I loved the olives in one of the salads, they bought another bowl of them! Direction wise we found it easy to find our way home after each day of wandering as it’s quite a direct walking route from the Jamaa fna square - after you’ve done it once! Also thoroughly recommend the spa & hammam- more like a western spa experience than a traditional hammam but with a little more nudity :)! We would come back to stay in a heart-beat!

I stayed for one night at the end of my time in Morocco in November. It was magical. I had a beautiful conversation about olives and eggplant one evening with Ahmed, and I had before me an eggplant vegetarian tagine breakfast extravaganza the next morning to my great surprise! This Riad was beyond expectation. They cared for my safety as a solo woman traveller and as a human being. A+

Impeccable service
The manager during our stay , Mohammed, made our stay extremely pleasant and unforgettable. He warmly greeted us at every chance he got , and really goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. In terms of the actual room, it left something to be desired . The towels were all old and had holes in it. The air conditioning worked but was quite noisy. But everything else was solid ! Recommend this place if you’re looking for a budget stay with great customer service.

Staff are friendly, dedicated, and hardworking professionals. My interaction with Mohamed, Tariks (two gentlemen), and Nor was great. Breakfast was delicious. Spa and hammam was clean and managed professionally. Location was walking distance to all actions. (Note there is a two minutes walk from hotel to the road with access to any car).

Gem in the Medina
This place is a beautiful gem with the friendliest staff in Marrakesh. Ahmed took very good care of us in the evenings and at morning breakfast. Isaam always had a smile and a greeting no matter what. I highly recommend this Riad in Marrakesh. Will definitely go back.

From the moment I arrived I was treated like a queen. Mint tea served upon arrival & the staff was always smiling & happy, so friendly. Everyone was so nice & just wanted you to feel at home. Lovely Moroccan Riad with great staff!!
Riad: The riad is very peaceful and beautiful. Authentic moroccan decor and attention to detail is what makes the riad memorable. The riad is beautifully decorated and so are the rooms. The pool area and the roof top were amongst my favorite spots to chill. Rooms: We stayed in Junior suite and we loved the room. It was spacious, clean and with all the amenities. Also, the decor is traditional which adds a charm to the room Staff: The staff is super helpful and they entertain all your needs. Mohammed helped me order a pizza from Dominoes nearby (since my husband was craving for it). They helped us with how to plan our sight-seeing and took care of all our needs. Breakfast: The breakfast was delicious: traditional Moroccan with pancakes and bread. Location: The riad is just a couple minute walk from the Bahia Palace and the city center. It was very convenient for us and we finished all the nearby sights in a day!! Would recommend staying in this riad for the hospitality and the ambiance!

The property itself is amazing!! The second you step in you feel the history, beauty, and magnificence of Moroccan architecture. The location is fantastic... I’ll never forget the walks through the narrow streets of the Medina. But above all, THE STAFF!! They were there for us when we needed recommendations, drivers, tips on dresscode, they helped us when our atm card didn’t work anywhere and we were out of cash. The location is roughly a 5-10min walk to the main square, but you wander through all the beautiful shops on your way. There is lots of restaurants also nearby. The staff here are AMAZING. Mohamed and the staff went over and above to look after us. THEY made our experience here amazing. Fresh tea on arrival, helping us on WhatsApp when we got lost. Making local recommendations. Talking with us each day when we returned and we shared and showed all our local purchases. Not all Riads are like this, but this made such a difference for our trip and our stay. The Riad has a small pool area and a restaurant. It is great value for money. The Hammam and massage is also available at the Riad. We have stayed in so many different hotels/accommodation. To be exact almost 34 countries in 4 years....this one stood out to us because of the people! When we come to Marrakech we will definitely stay at this Riad again!!! Thank you so so much

The Hotel is small But very beautiful. Secure and at the Center. Location is perfect, walking distance to a lot of touristic places such as Jemaa el-Fnaa, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Museums and Souks. Staff are all very nice especially the cleaning lady and the manager Mohammed. I forgot my gold necklace when i went out and the chamber maid found it in bed and place it on the table. It truly gives a feeling of “home away from home”. Great Value for Money.

A Riad is a Moroccan traditional house and protecting the original architecture and style is the most important thing in a riad which allows to the guests to travel back in time and discover how the wealthiest citizens such as merchants and courtiers lived in these houses which allowed for family privacy and protection. For these reasons we avoid everything that can change the history of these houses like TV in rooms... because these things exist in modern places like hotels... 99% of riads in Marrakech do not have TVs in the rooms. Regarding the service, our staff is always delighted to make our guests stays in Marrakech the most enjoyable and confortable and we are always at their entire disposal if they have any remarks, questions or queries but we will always do our best to improve our quality of service. What a wonderful place. The staff are just incredible, it has character, perfect for exploring. It isn't a high-end luxurious property but I actually didn't mind that. Everything was just right, would def. come again.

A soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla piazza Jemaa el Fna si trova questo angolo di paradiso. La calma e il profumo di argan caratterizzando questo bellissimo riad. La nostra stanza era forse un po’ piccolina, ma per il tempo che si trascorre in camera andava benissimo. Ottima pulizia. Colazione buonissima ed abbondante. Abbiamo anche provato l’hamman E il massaggio nella piccola SPA. Un grazie a tutto lo staff sempre sorridente e disponibile. Consigliato

周辺エリアは人も多くお店も沢山で安心して歩くことができました。 チェックインの時間よりも早く到着してしまいましたが、荷物を部屋に入れてもらい出かけることができました！！ とても綺麗なリヤドでスパもあり、また機会があれば利用したいです。

The riad is a beautiful oasis not far from the melee of the Médina. The staff are extremely welcoming and willing to help with any problems even ones that don’t involve the riad. We had a problem with our flight home and they helped sort it out and arrange earlier transport for us. We had a hammam and massage there which were very nice. The rooms are very traditional, I would have preferred a duvet rather than blankets and sheets which kept separating and it was a bit chilly at times because it is their winter. The shower took a while to warm up too but for what we paid I think we got excellent value. I would definitely recommend this riad to anyone who wants a traditional morrocan welcome in beautifully renovated surroundings.

O Riad é excelente, fica no centro da Medina e localizado a poucos passos de uma das melhores atrações da cidade, o Palais Bahia. A equipe é fenomenal, todos te atendem muito bem, fazendo com que a sua experiência na cidade seja a melhor possível, fornecendo dicas, indicações e explicações sobre a cultura, gastronomia e costumes locais. Com certeza retornaremos!

This was a great Riad! Everyone was so nice and we loved staying there. If we go back to Marrakech we will definitely stay there again.
