Experience Marion like a local in this 5-bedroom house that sleeps 13. Each room is uniquely designed with 1 king bed, day bed, twin over full bunk bed, and 2 queen beds. Queen air mattress and twin air mattress also available for use. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, central heat and 2 separate AC units, a Peloton, washing machine and dryer, an iron and ironing board, two hair dryers, gas fireplace, and electric fireplace. Kitchen is stocked with all necessary amenities including double oven, gas stove, dishwasher, disposal, walk-in pantry, 3 refrigerators, coffee maker, toaster, air fryer, and microwave. The master bathroom features a large walk-in shower with multiple shower heads, jetted bathtub, and hair dryer. Second bath has a walk-in shower with two shower heads. Third bath has a large walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. Towels provided in all bathrooms. Never run out of hot water with the gas, tankless hot water heater. The back yard features a large, in-ground saltwater pool with slide and diving board, and has an enough room for a full whiffle ball game! Fire pit with ample seating is the perfect viewing spot to watch the kids swim and play. The 4800 sq ft pole barn features a full hitting cage with L-screen and regulation basketball goal. The 20 ft ceiling allows for 3-pt range shooting. Small dogs allowed for a fee. All of this and only 4 miles from the lake of Egypt, and 8 miles from Mt. Dew Park, and 8 miles from the brand new, state of the art Oasis Sports Complex

4th of July Weekend

We had a great stay at this house. The house was exactly as described-spacious, comfortable, and in great location. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and towels. There was a minor issue with the cleanliness in a few areas upon arrival, and was brought up to the host's attention. Overall this is a lovely place to stay and we'd definitely consider coming back again. With just a little extra attention to cleaning details, it would be absolutely perfect!

Hot. Dirty.

The host was at the property upon arrival and overall was very nice. The pool was dirty she stated she had just put chemicals/cleaner in it and it should clear up. When I say dirty I mean you could not see the bottom of the pool the water was very cloudy. It remained this way for the duration of our stay. The host did offer to come by on day 2 of our stay but given the other issues we were just over the entire property and declined that offer. The pool was the least of our worries. The house was not professionally cleaned prior to our arrival. The floors were very dirty and we even saw mouse droppings in the bund bed room. The floor was so dirty our feet were black. The overall quality of the home was not up to something I would put up for other people to stay in, lots of things that were photographed to look very nice were not that way when we arrived (may be very old photos)The largest issue we experienced was with the homes TWO A/C units. Upon arrival the home was at 78 degrees. The thermostat set to 71. While the days we were at this home were very hot I don’t feel the system was able to keep up. The property owner stated that the 2 living room windows without coverings are a large contributing factor however those are the only two in the entire home that don’t have coverings. The property owner was notified in numerous occasions over our stay. Had a AC person come change filters.Which didn’t help. The home has a crawl space under it that has a stray dog in
