Totally renovated this beachfront condo at the Apollo sits right on top of the Gulf waters and popular South Beach. Gorgeous sunsets from your very own private balcony! Award winning Apollo building offers the Sunset Grille on the first floor and is the only condo building on the entire beach offering a restaurant/bar. Only the hotels offer these amenities.

Apollo just a short drive from Ft. Myers, Florida, Regional Southwest Airport. At Apollo on the Beach, unit 708, you'll have your own private balcony with Western exposure, allowing you to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets night in and night out! Take in the unobstructed views of Marco Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. 708 is a 1 bed 1 bath, equipped with own secure WiFi connection, flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen to cook up your favorite meals.

The Sunset Grille, voted 'best happy hour' on the island, is located on the ground floor. The Apollo is the only condo on Marco Beach that has the convenience of a restaurant on the premises!

You'll find excellent restaurants in Marco and Goodland, a unique near-by fishing village. The Marco Movie Theatre serves food while you're viewing the latest movie. Many restaurants will prepare your fresh catch. Rose Marina offers boat rentals for cruising or fishing, a narrated lunch or dinner cruise around the island and Key West Excursions. Nice Beachfront Condo

Good location near a lot of the Marco Island attractions. An added bonus is the Sunset Grill Sports Bar Restaurant on premise.

Very nice! Wonderful pool, hot tub and right on the beach. Beautiful view everyday! Our condo itself could use a bit of decorating and a few more kitchen utensils. No oven in this kitchen either. But overall, a very nice stay.

Updated condo with beautiful view!

This is a nicely updated condo, in a beautiful oceanfront location. It is well equipped for cooking. The only negatives were a hallway throw rug and beach chairs that really need to be replaced. We enjoyed the whole property and would highly recommend the Sunset Grille. The food was wonderful and you can’t beat the incredible sunsets! The Apollo Condominiums are in a very convenient location. Everything that you need is a short walk or drive away. We’ll be back!

Apollo get away.

Appreciated the updated clean condo. Had almost everything we needed. Just would of been nice to know there wasn’t a coffeemaker ( we had to go buy one) and no oven ( had to eat out more than we like to do). Overall though was much better than the condo we rented last year!!!!!!!

View was beautiful but..

The bathroom has a funky smell to it. It over powered the entire unit. Don't know if the previous renters smoked in it but the smell of cigarettes and mold were so overpowering we left 4 days early. The rug in the hallway was filthy as was the bath mat. Everything else was clean. Only one elevator worked the entire time we were there. Plus the constant use of keys to get into the Apollo including the gate, lobby, beach, pool and elevator was ridiculous.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed, we have been to Marco Island for the past 5 years, first time to use Harborview rentals and the Apollo ( Apollo #708). The mattress for the bed was very poor, had to sleep on the couch. The Air conditioner sounded like a jet plane taking off when ever it would turn on. We were notified 1 week prior to our arrival that they would be power washing and using equipment to paint the facility. It was so loud during the day that you could not watch TV and very annoying when attempting to sit on balcony. The view from the room was beautiful, and the Condo would have been nice if the bed was usable. But the noise from the workers and air conditioner added to us deciding not to use Harborview rentals or the Apollo in the future. The employee that we received the keys from at Harborview Rentals was rude. The restaurant (Sunset Grille) at the Apollo was great and the servers were fantastic.

Beachfront "Tiny Home" Style Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This one bedroom was very clean and it was indicative of the pictures shown on the website. It looked to have been updated in the last few years. However, it was like we were staying in a tiny home as the kitchen/dining/living room were all combined in a very small area. The bed pillows were so firm and fluffy that we used the decorative pillows on the couch as our pillows to lay our head on when we went to bed. There was no washer and dryer in the unit, but instead a washer and dryer at the elevator bank that required payment to use. We stay in condos each year all across FL and have never come across this setup. It was evident that the condo complex was very old, but they have tried their best to keep a fresh coat of paint on everything to keep it looking decent. The property also requires the use of an actual key to use the elevators and to get access to and from the property through multiple doors or gates to and from the beach. There is a significant need for the property to update to the use of access control keypads or card readers to access the condo units themselves as well as the doors and gates that provide access to and from the beach. They are significantly behind the times with regards to the use of security technology. The unit was equipped with many cooking supplies, but the small two burner cooktop does not allow for any significant cooking to take place. The appliances were newer and clean. The overall condition of the unit was very good. The unit offered great views of the beach and beautiful sunset views. Make sure to read the rental documents in detail as we found that many of the start-up supplies that are found in other condos, was not found in this unit. While we enjoyed our trip to Marco Island, we will make a different choice with regards to where we stay on our next trip.

However, the unit was dirty and smelled of smoke when we arrived. I was told by management it had been a very busy week, and that may be why it wasn’t as clean as usual. They came in the next day to clean, and it was somewhat better. They also left brand new clean bedding, since there were stains on the bedspread. We appreciated the prompt attention. We would stay again, as long as we could be sure that the unit was clean upon arrival.

Reviewer Comments: Where do I began 1 as travelers we started our day 430 am check in airport arrive to fla at 10 am drive an hour to destination now it 11 get something to eat and do a little food shopping for some basic food supplies stop at harbor view to see if we can get settled in like Norman check ins that a 2pm check in is basically a Norman time for vacation not 4 now having to kill 3 more hours with no where to go we wait and drive some more then about 20 minutes till 4 check in time we get packet a head to applo once there hungry again hot tired stressed looking to get settled in we encounter a very discruntled hotel manager that demanded we move our luggage rack with 4 guest luggage and groceries mind you we are renting 2 condos there for a week so that 2 young construction workers holding a 2 pound door can get by our cart when there was another way around my stuff with a clear path so after a few words she takes my stuff and moves it further away form where I am to let them pass Making it inconvenient for me the guest with 2 condos wait for them once we get our stuff in I now go back to management asking for explanation of this and requesting an apology from her for letting this happen to there paying guest she replied for what then went on about construction going on an the real tenants are complaining so I guess me payout a months rent for a 5 day stay makes me irrelevant so I get to room to relax and unwind and get ready for dinner next day I discovered that the only supply of toilet paper was the one on the role so I check paper towels and it same this is less than a 2 dollar item and I just paid a more than a months rent x 2 for me to have to go out to a shopping center again taking time away from my once a year vacation to supplie there condo with paper products this is unacceptable I will never come back to that place again or my family this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had

There were a few small issue, Shower doors need to be secured at bottom, bedroom shade, a small pan to boil eggs. But I guess I'm nit-picking. There was plenty of room for two, and the bed was very comfortable. The sunsets every night from the balcony are amazing! The location is great, you step right onto the beach coming out of the pool area. Having Sunset Grille on the first floor is also great if you need a bite or drink and don't feel like leaving the building. Over all my wife and I loved our stay and can't wait to return!

Nice condo, but know before you go

We enjoyed our stay on Marco Island and here are a couple positives about the condo: This condo had been newly updated and is pretty nice for a small one bedroom condo. The view is better than the pictures show. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed. The location is very nice on the south end of the island and is fairly close to many different restaurants. The beach is very large, so even though it was pretty busy, there was plenty of room to space out if you prefer to do so. The condo provides 3 beach chairs, which are dated and rusty, but they work. There is also an umbrella, but we never used it. Some negatives: The staff at the Apollo is very unfriendly, almost to the point of being rude. When we checked in we already had the keys to the condo and just needed to get the parking tag. We were hungry and planned to eat at the Sunset Grille next door. The lady checking us in asked for the license plate number which I didn’t have because my husband had already parked the car and when I asked if we could come back later and get the parking tag since my husband had already parked she just stared at me and said no. It was almost 5:00 and they were there until 10:00 so I’m not sure why they couldn’t have waited until after we ate. Not a huge deal, but didn’t start our stay with a warm fuzzy feeling. The rest of the week we would say hello as we went through the lobby and was ignored most of the time. There is no washer/dryer in the condo, which is a big deal when they only provide four washcloths for two people. We knew there wasn’t a washer/dryer in the room, so we packed enough for a week. I don’t mind reusing a towel a couple of times, but I won’t reuse a washcloth and didn’t want to do laundry every couple of days just for washcloths. We went to Walmart and bought a pack of washcloths for $5. The place smells musty and was much worse once we turned on the a/c. It smelled like boys smelly socks, so we left the patio doors open quite a lot. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
