« For a first timer being nervous it was really good. All the things it said it would have it had and more. It was nice to be off the grid and away from people. Plenty of bath towels and extras. I was use to a gas grill and this was a charcoal, so needed to provided own charcoal. But otherwise it had all the things to make meals as far as utensils went. »

« Perfect getaway and home base to explore the area. Fayetteville state park is a must. The house was spotless. We are not pet owners so our expectations are high. Comfortable bed and furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed. »

« We had three families totaling 14 people. This place was ideal! Plenty of bedrooms and beds for the adults and kids to pick. Plenty of bathrooms so no waiting! Plenty of space! Spent lots of time on the porch. Kids spent lots of time in the river! The whole place is homey and comfortable with everything you could need! With seven boys and a teenage girl it can be challenging to meet everyone's needs - this place nailed it! Hope to come back again. »

A/C was fine but spotty as not all rooms had their own window unit. Location was fine close to the big park and main downtown street. This is a quiet town even in the middle of summer. »

« The place was even better than described! Happily there were two queen bedrooms. Third bedroom had a twin bed plus a bunk bed with top twin and bottom double. Beds were soft and comfy. The kitchen had everything I'd want except for a dishwasher. Loved the outdoor wood Michigan shaped chairs and UP shaped drink table. My personal favorite was the spotting scope set up on tripod in the living room bay window. I really enjoyed the bird watching and changing views of the lake and sunrises! »
