Its a beautiful setting - they enjoyed the dock, lake, and kayaks. Kitchen was very workable...we grilled burgers on the big deck. I live a few miles away and are considering a stay and pretending I am far from home on vacation! One negative - there are fans but no windows have screens, so no crossbreeze when its hot. To make my daughter’s 13 birthday extra special, we rented this cabin for the night. The girls had a blast in the lake and use of the equipment provided, we enjoyed a fire, and it was plenty big enough to sleep comfortably. The space was perfect, and the kids loved the dock and lake. The house was well appointed and had everything I needed to host and serve food. Plenty of space for kids to have fun and enjoy. It was fun being in an old house and seeing the historical house picture on the wall. The view of the lake and the dock were spectacular. It was extremely well stocked with everything we needed.
