It has a front porch the entire width of the house and a spacious patio in the back, including a fire pit for your outdoor enjoyment. The first floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The second floor has a second bath and is an open concept with a king-size bed and a sofa/sleeper. The second floor will sleep four comfortably, with the entire house sleeping six. Nestled in the scenic bluffs of the Mississippi River valley, Maeystown boasts a rich German heritage with old-world architecture and hosts several festivals every year. The property was immaculate and the owner has thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils and everything needed to cook. The living room was cozy and comfortable and the beds were very comfortable as well. The town is so peaceful and quiet and we both slept so well. Everything was well stocked, clean, and just a really cute house and grounds! I wish we had been there on the weekend so more places were open. The stairs going in the back door don’t have railings so we were extra cautious getting some older family members in the house.
