« Lia at the front desk saved the trip honestly. A lot of the trails by Big Bear Lake are closed until early September, but Lia provided a list of trails, guides, restaurant recommendations.
We ended up doing the kayaking excursion with (I think Caitlyn was her name) and hiked 2 of the trails recommended. The pool was a good temp, the kayaking was fun and informative. Nice shower. The upgrade to the balcony with the view of the lake is worth it. Yummy restaurant at this hotel too! We also walked...

« Opened the front door and found a dead mouse on the mat. Talk about a bad first impression. This place is old and obviously not rented much. Bathroom door used a gate latch for a door handle. This is a one and done for us. »

« I booked 2 weeks ahead of time for this cabin, it's cute and very tiny and the area around was nice very tight road. I got a message on my way the day of to the cabin and it said there was no power and they didn't have an update when there would be power so to check Edison. I check Edison , they were with out power already a week at least before I even showed up. I had no where to go it was freezing up there in the mountains to sleep with no heat or to not even have light it's pitch black out...
« Our stay at Sherwood Arms Motel was worthwhile! After our first night, we decided to stay another night and Syed (Front office) made it an easy transition for us! He ensured we were accommodated, comfortable, and pleased. We stayed in room 8 and 9 and can definitely say that it was better than a hotel (made it feel as if we were luxuriously camping). Close to Lake Arrowhead, convince store, gas station, diners, etc. Highly recommend and will be back :) »
