"This hotel is incredible! It is an old building which has been redone. The architect and owners struck a perfect balance. The ambiance is warm and inviting with touches from the past. The check-in process was very easy. The receptionist who greeted us and even showed us to our room was very personable and inviting. My husband and I looked at our simple room trying to decide what made is so perfect. In the end, we decided that although it was simple, the colors, bedding, fixtures, etc. blended seamlessly to bring about that warm, welcome and comfortable feeling. There was even a little goody bag of treats to greet us. I usually do not like staying in a hotel, but I felt almost at home here. We look forward to a return visit on another trip to Washington when we can check out a more deluxe room and also the area which abounds with little shops. A return visit is high on my bucket list."
