« A beautiful property which made for a perfect stay for 11 of us celebrating 5 teenagers GCSE results. Whilst we all made good use of the pool for hours each day, we also loved having the Tennis court, table tennis, play area, bikes and beach equipment, all of which got some use.The grounds are lovely, with lots left to wilding which meant there were an abundance of bees in and out of the hives which were also (carefully) visited by a number of us. « Lovely little house, well placed tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Pub/Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and a corner shop all within 50 yards of the property. Center of Christchurch is a 15 minute walk. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. We did find the hot water system was a bit temperamental, however we were informed that it was due for a service. »

This is not an exaggeration from the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was in a disgraceful condition. « Fantastic location for hikes and getting around the island. The house was a great size for 8 adults with the ground floor bedrooms being excellent for old people. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you wish to cook and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The only issue we had was that whilst two of the baths in 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) have showers attachments it is difficult to use as a shower as you have to hold the shower attachment whilst trying to...

« We've just spent a few days over New Year at Victoria House. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 older teens and the house was ideal for us. Plenty of space, a games room and separate small living room, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. Bembridge is a great location, the village has a brilliant and friendly pub (The Old Village Inn), a good Coop, pharmacy etc. It's also walking distance to the harbour, and beach. Roger is a great host, he answered all our questions...
