Must mention that the swimming pool is beautiful. Had a good time in the spa facilities. The walk by the sea and the garden was the highlight of the mothers day. For a grand hotel as Hythe imperial, It was surprising that a room did not have robes and slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste and a conditioner. Been to smaller hotels with better attention to such small details. The breakfast was not the best. The staff in the reception did not seem very attending as we were there waiting for some time. There was a opened sandwich in the fridge which must hve been left by the previous guests. So, overall it was an average stay at a grand hotel." Staff were lovely. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. And to top it off we were a 5-10 cab ride away from Ashford designer outlet. That said, there were a few issues worth noting. In our room, the shower holder was broken, meaning you had to hold the shower head the entire time, which wasn’t ideal. Parking is no longer included and is now managed by a third party at £6 per night, which feels like an unnecessary extra. The biggest surprise, though, was the dog fee – now £30, which was actually more than the cost per adult. It does feel like they may be taking advantage of the fact that many guests are travelling with pets to France.
