« This little cabin has an immediately rustic feel, but I mean that in a great way. It’s clearly a cozy old retreat that’s been enjoyed by a family for generations, but it’s been so well maintained. It’s clean and comfortable and full of interesting mid-century gems. The bathroom is tiny and the stove is ancient, but those aren’t details that will derail your stay. The location is great, the view can’t be beat, and we loved our time here. I’d definitely choose this property again! »

« Was a good stay. My boys were able to ski right from the lodge. I work in the vacation rental industry, and see a lot of units. Photos are exactly how the unit looked and felt. Our boys had the basement to themselves, and all were comfortable. »

« I loved getting to experience how easy Grand Marais is to walk through from this location. Over ten restaurants and several other businesses are all within a 0.5 mile walk of this unit, most much closer. The weather didn't cooperate until the final day of my stay, but I never felt a draft inside even as 40+ mph winds were coming off the East Bay. Host was great. My bathtub started leaking through the ceiling downstairs (not part of the rental unit) but the host made the repairs while I was out...
