« The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. »

« This home was very clean and had a great private property with long dock and chairs to enjoy nature. We have never been to the area and is a bit remote so I'd recommend bringing food and supplies initially if you need. Great getaway spot to disconnect with plenty of amenities and fully furnished kitchen. »

« For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! »

« We had a great time at this beautiful new Inner Banks home. The property was spotless, with fresh, high-quality furnishings that made it feel both comfortable and upscale. The private water access was a wonderful feature, and while the fishing pier was a bit of a walk, it was worth it for the peaceful setting.The owners were excellent hosts—communicative, friendly, and extremely responsive to any questions we had. « Easily one of the best vacations ever spent with my family! There was always something to do in this little oasis. Fishing, boating, even dolphin paid us a couple visits. The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! « Lovely property about 10. minutes from Oriental, NC. This sweet home is on a cul de sac, next to a Marina. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the main river where we saw Dolphins and River Otter. Our pets were very happy with a large yard. We enjoyed fishing from the spacious dock. When we asked locals where they swim - they encouraged us to check the waterway reports before swimming. « We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year! »
