« We enjoyed our stay very much at this lake home with a great view of the sunrise. Great communication and the home was comfortable and had everything you’d need for your stay. The kitchen is well supplied . With two levels and a screen porch and deck , there is a lot of room to spread out. You need to bring your own water toys etc. It is in the southern portion of the main part of Tellico Village and seems a little less busy. We would love to return. »

« We had a lovely stay at Doc Holiday house! Nestled in a quiet cove at Tellico lake you’ll enjoy peaceful mornings and even quieter nights! The walk to the dock is 74 steps with areas to rest along the way if need be. The dock has a small table ( no umbrella) but nice for a glass of wine or coffee. We rented a pontoon for the week which was delivered to us and enjoyed the lake! « Two Big Issues. The driveway is in need of repair and is difficult to navigate because of a large pothole in the middle of a steep incline. Especially for the elderly. Also there were a good many ants that were in the house. I saw where they had been treated so most were dead but we had to vacuum all of them up for 30 min or so. It wouldn’t have been that bad but they were in the bed too. The house was nice overall but just needs a little TLC. We did reach out to the host about the ants but...

Had some power flickers, guessing this is because of utilities work in the area, vut wasn't sure. Power never stayed completely off, was onlh off for a couple seconds each time. « Wonderful property on Watts-Barr lake with a dock. 3rd year in a row coming down for Labor Day with friends. The dock is awesome for swimming with kiddos and keeping the boat. The boat ramp is only 10 minutes away. The water slide from the top level is thrilling for sure! The house was clean and stocked generously with cookware and dishes. Great views of the sunset and wildlife abound. Definitely on our list of places to come back to. »
