I was expecting more for the price. Other than the scenic views of Cabo from the top of the resort. nothing about our stay was very memorable. Definitely won’t be booking sandos again unless there is a steal of a deal on. We had an ocean view room but the noise from what I’m assuming was the buildings AC or power generator was so loud we couldn’t use our balcony. I was excited to have fresh seafood in Cabos but the seafood here was barely edible. I also don’t recommend this place if you are gluten free. Each time we ate the hostess would ask my allergies, then I’d have to explain again to the servers. His happened every time we ate. Not sure why the hostess would ask but not relay it to the servers or chef. At every other resort I’ve stayed at, once the staff know I’m gluten free, I don’t have to explain it again and they offer me gluten free options at each meal without me having to ask. This place made no such effort. It was disappointing.

Our room was older but very well maintained and serviced daily. The staff were incredibly helpful and we were not bothered by time share conversations beyond the initial questions regarding our interest. There dining options were excellent and we enjoyed every meal we had at the restaurants on site. The coffee shop is a really fun option! We love being able to swim in the ocean so that is the only downside to this property as it's located at a non-swim able beach area however it is across from the marina so you get all the upside of a beach front property in walking distance of downtown.

This resort was absolutely amazing to us. My group and I are college students that went for our spring break in march. It’s the perfect mix of being able to cader to all age groups. There was a club upstairs every night that made the resort more hype for us, but during the day it was never over crowded and perfect for just tanning, drinking, music, and poolside games. The events like white party & casino night really diversified the resort as well with changing up what we could do. The best part was the way the resort was structured, having it built into the mountains made the terrain stunning, and looking over all of Cabo was so beautiful. The food also blew us away, never something too bland. One thing I will say is to look into what package you are purchasing, we got the VIP “gold wrist bands” unknowingly, but we’re thankful we did because the blue wristbands restricted a lot of alcohol options & the adult pool. But nonetheless I cannot wait to return to the Sandos resorts in the future!

Staff was very nice and attentive. Room and grounds were very clean. Food was good and there was no waiting for a table in-lieu of the no reservation policy. Ride to resort was a bit long 45 min to1 hour from airport

Our room was upgraded, so that was a huge plus! The staff there was amazing and very friendly. Our room was very clean and any request was satisfied immediately. The food was really good and we rarely had to wait on a drink! 5 out of 5 stars!

My wife, two sons and daughter--in-law stayed here for one week in early February. While the hotel itself is a little dated compared to the newer hotels in Mexico, the location and the staff are the best I have experienced anywhere. When it was newer, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones was married there. Although it is a little dated, the staff do an excellent job of maintaining it. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and efficient. If I had more space to acknowledge specifics about individuals such as: Mar, Omar, Adi, Ameyuli and Jeffite(sp). In real estate, they say, "Location, Location, Location!" This resort probably has the best location in Cabo. Most of the rooms face the Pacific Ocean and the three pools. The morning breakfast buffet is at the Don Diego restaurant that overlooks the marina and the entire city. It is an amazing view. The entertainment is also done here as well as the Cupcake Cafe for extra desserts. Several restaurants and bars are located at this ridge top location. So, you have the best of everything with this hotel's views of the ocean, the marina, the dolphin experience pool, and the entire city. Furthermore, it is a quick walk to get to the marina where most of the city’s restaurants and bars are located. If you want a really good Italian dinner, go see Mario at The Kitchen by Nowhere Bar (it will make sense when you get there). I should add that the food in the hotel restaurants was very good. I was never disappointed.

The resort was in terrible condition. The day we arrived the water coming out of the faucet and the shower was black. Later that night water was turned off completely. The next day water came back on and it was black again for the next 24 hours. Water was then turned off again and this happened for our first three full days. Whenever you would ask the front desk, they would say we are working on it. I had two separate rooms and one of them when the water came back on the toilet flooded the bathroom, the hallway and the closet. This was the worst stay I have ever had at an Expedia resort booking.

We recently stayed at this resort and overall it was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. The rooms and common areas were kept tidy, and the staff did a good job with cleanliness throughout the property. However, there were several things that were disappointing. The food was not very good and lacked variety and flavor. It definitely didn’t meet expectations for a resort experience. We were also surprised to learn that you had to be a member to access better drink options, which didn’t feel fair for regular guests. That was frustrating. The pool was cold most of the day, which made it hard to fully enjoy, especially when relaxing poolside is a big part of a resort stay. The entertainment was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it was an average experience. Clean property, but several areas could definitely use improvement.
