"The view of the golf course is beautiful. The diner was very good. Staff at the restaurant is very helpful Breakfast is a bit disappointing considering the standing of the establishment. Nothing bad but not fantastic. Also when we had supper, there is no price on the menu except for drinks. That was a bit disturbing. Finally, we arrived a bit early as we flew in from Canada. We were very tired but the room got ready only at 2:30pm, which is exactly the time when it is supposed to be ready. I cannot fault the establishment but I would have appreciated some gesture to expedite the readiness of the room. The room is very quiet, there is a nice old library and rhe garden is simply magnificent. All in all, it was a very good stay and a beautiful scenery. But I think a bit overpriced for what we got. "

"Lieu atypique, c’est une 1ere pour ns. D’habitude nous réservons dans un hôtel pas chez un hôte. Le p’tit dej était excellent, Alice nous a accueilli et conseilé pour aller manger au restaurant dans la ville. Le + station de bus à proximité, pour aller visiter Édimbourg. "
