« The building is a historic site built in 1834. The owner is friendly, informative, very kind. The rooms are large, very comfortable, each with it's own bathroom. The breakfasts are fantastic! The staff can't be any more welcoming and accommodating. »
« WONDERFUL STAY! Safe, quiet and clean with all working amenities (air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, shower). And the front office staff were professional, friendly and accommodating when I needed extra soap and shampoo. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. »
« Our only issue is we had some younger people next door in 303 who were very loud and wanting to party all night but we called the front desk and it was pretty much addressed right away. Thank you. »

The free breakfast was nice - different options on the 2 mornings we used it. There is a nice looking fitness center and an indoor pool. (we are old and did not use either of these :-) ) »

« I go to Altoona several times a year to attend Altoona Curve baseball games. My first time trying the Altoona Grand was a great experience. The hotel is clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The on site restaurant and bar was a nice touch as well. We enjoyed some good food and drinks after the game. The staff were all friendly and willing to help. I will be sure to book again the next time I go back to Altoona. »
