« The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. »

We got the train so cannot comment on parking, but the flat is on a pedestrianised shopping street so there is no vehicular drop off immediately outside. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. « We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. »

« What a fantastic cottage it was amazing the condition the fittings and what a welcome pack. I highly recommend this cottage private garden with a gas barbeque which I used on three occasions treated the barbeque with respect by using foil on the griddles. The lounge was so relaxing with a high quality TV and smart box. Bedrooms and bathroom and a shower room downstairs. Stayed for 2 weeks and the owner even asked if I wanted a mid stay clean!! and fresh towels wow. Highly recommend you will not...

« Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. Garage à 10€ la nuit pratique. Très bon restaurant avec une base de cuisine aux notes indiennes de bonne réalisation."

"Hotel well located, nice design, breakfast and food are nice, The desk people are not interested of anything, doing their job with no joy, no sympathy, it’s not lively, except for one waiter at the restaurant who served us at breakfast and lunch who was very nice and joyful Room nice but no AC…and 4th floor bit tricky to get there (not for everyone) Bathroom could be cleaned better (spotted hairs in the shower at arrival), and shower not clean the day after as well as the toilet"

"This hotel has seen better days but I think it is currently under refurbishment. Nonetheless it is clean, well maintained. Rooms are big and I was granted a sea view room even if I booked a regular first priced room. The breakfast is average but I likes it. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the charm of the 70s-80s Grand Hotels, if you do too I would highly recommend the St Ives Bay"
