  • Settled in the heart of Lancaster County and Amish County, this cozy apartment is an ideal place to step back from the frantic pace of life,to relax in this peaceful farm setting.
    The Fountain Hill Apartment has a private entrance and offers you a full-service kitchen and dining/living room area.
    We'll include some breakfast items to get you started ,-farm fresh eggs and milk, butter, homemade bread and cereal.
    The fire pit next to the guesthouse is a great place to watch the stars at night.
    The historical towns of Intercourse and Strasburg offer tourist attractions.

    Strasburg Railroad, Kitchen Kettle, and Buggy Rides. (15 min) Mini golfing, Antique shops.

    Wolfs Hollow Park and Gap park are only minutes from here.( Walking and hiking)
    Dutch Way Restaurant /Grocery store are 2 miles from here..
    In the fall of 2023 we transitioned away from dairy cows. However, we still have dairy replacement heifers and beef cattle.
    Come, experience life in the country and allow us to share our rich heritage of farming with you
    Because this is a working crops and cattle farm, we thank you in advance for respecting it as such.

The sweet quiet atmosphere was awesome and can only be attributed to the sweet family that owns it. The host were very helpful in helping us obtain the most from our visit to the area. Looking forward to going back one day!

Absolutely charming, relaxing and the owners are so sweet. They had absolutely every comfort of home, even toys for my daughter and milk in the fridge. This has been my favorite stay and I hope to come back with my husband for a longer stay one day !

The stay was amazing! The fresh milk, eggs, bread, and baked treats were so charming! I felt like I was taking a trip back to my childhood spending the night on my grandparents farm. The property was gorgeous! It was the relaxation and refresh we were looking for. If you are a light sleeper be aware that the VRBO is attached to the main house and you can hear every door shut and footsteps.

This place was one of the best we have stayed at. The hosts were very friendly. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed with eggs, bread and milk. There were also cupcakes. We enjoyed our stay and would return if the opportunity arises.

The Lapp farm was everything we hoped it would be. It was a beautiful, restful retreat, located right in the center of the various things we wanted to go to in Lancaster County. We recieved homemade bread and cup cakes, and fresh milk and eggs. We were made to feel like guests in their home. Can't recommend enough.

The apartment was very comfortable and was as shown in the pictures. The setting was quiet and we enjoyed the closeness of the farm animals. We ventured into Philadelphia as well as stopping by Valley Forge. Randy and Wilma were great hosts and we enjoyed the fresh bread for breakfast.

Our stay was amazing! The farm was absolutely beautiful and the fresh milk, eggs, bread, and baked goods were a charming touch. Looking out the window at the cows in the pasture took me back to my childhood spending the night on my grandparents farm. It was a perfect place to unplug and relax. The hospitality was as wonderful! It was a convenient distance for our Sight and Sound show. Although they were very respectful the VRBO is attached to the main house and you can hear footsteps and doors closing. If you are a light sleeper this may make for a restless nights sleep.

Had a wonderful time. Everything was just as listed. So enjoyed being greeted by brownies, fresh eggs, milk and a loaf of bread. The lodging was very clean. I appreciated the wonderful communication with the Lapp family. I felt right at home. When in the area, I will look them up to stay again. Such a blessing!

I felt like I was home when I walked into this farm apartment. Wilma is the sweetest! I was given fresh eggs, fresh milk, homemade brownies, and fresh bread,so delicious! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay this is definitely something you should look at! A rating of five is not big enough. Thank you Wilma!! I'm hoping to come back soon!!

Wilma was a great host, she came out to greet us when we arrived and we chatted for a while about our families. Very clean apartment, well stocked with everything we needed. There was fresh milk, eggs, homemade bread and muffins there for us to enjoy. Peaceful farm setting- a wonderful place to stay!!

This is our third year staying with Wilma and Randy. We love it!! It is so relaxing to be on their farm away from the city and the cares of the world. If you want peace and quiet - this is your place. If you want TV and noise, probably not. As always, when we arrived, we were greeted with a quart jar of farm fresh milk, a loaf of homemade bread, butter, a half dozen farm fresh eggs, AND a couple of pieces of Shoo Fly Pie - yum. The farm is near Zook's market - a wonderful place to shop. It is also near Sight and Sound Theatre which was our main purpose for coming. Lots of near by Mennonite and Amish farms and attractions. You won't find better. A very comfortable apartment with everything you'll need.
