"This beautiful historic inn exceeded our expectations in location, comfort, amenities and spacious room. The entire inn is thoughtfully decorated to match the historic home and we just loved the massive staircase and carpets throughout. We enjoyed 3 nights in a King suite with partial bay view. Even though there was a Keurig in our room we indulged in the Nespresso and other hot beverages in main area downstairs. A memorable stay!"

"Property was great, very clean. Owners gave very clear instructions on how to operate everything. Also Mahone Bay is s a great alternative to staying in Lunenburg. The town has an excellent casual seafood restaurant and is very picturesque. We arrived on the night of a wind and rain storm so didn’t get to use the hot tub unfortunately."

"This cottage hits every dream of a get away. When you walk in, you immediately notice every little perfect choice that had been made to create this cottage. From the personnel notes and maps with highlighted places to visit. The host left us fresh eggs from their chickens and creamer for the morning coffee. Over the top thoughtful for first arriving. The charm and character of this house leaves you feeling special. From adventures in and around to lying on the couch and watching a movie, we were well relaxed and in a much needed down time. Let’s not forget the stargazing. Let’s just say all you wanted to do was look at the sky. The cottage is exceptionally clean. Thanks for exactly what we needed. Perfect getaway."

"We loved the cottage and its convenient location for all our excursions on the south shore. It was cozy, clean and quiet. The mattress was really comfortable. We would definitely stay again."

"Nice little motel right on the water clean and very comfortable. The only downside was that we had a power outage during the night and were unable to get breakfast or coffee in the morning. we would stay again."

There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night."

"A beautiful spacious house in an amazing location. Very well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed. Immersed in nature, we watched bald eagles catching fish, seals playing in the cove and gave the Merlin app a good run. Phil's communcation was excellent, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return. ( Visiting from the UK)"

"We were delighted with this property, not so far from Halifax and yet felt we were away from home! Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Did not use the sauna or hot tub but plan to on our next visit. Well equipped kitchen and right on the waterfront. Recommend 100% thanks for a wonderful stay!"
