Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Very clean unit in a good location with a well equipped kitchen. The only down side was the noise - gulls making noise all night, early morning trash trucks, and construction at the property next door. Bring earplugs for a good night's sleep.

holiday on prospect

the location was good other than hauling very heavy suitcases up stairs at 70 years old. the beds were aweful, really need to be replaced (mattresses). coasters would be great in bathroom. no seasonings to cook. did like the updated bathroom and kitchen. tv worked great. support to let us in was great.

All It Claims to be ... But!

This property is in a great location in the heart of the La Jolla restaurant/retail district! It is nicely updated, though the furniture isn't very comfortable. If you're sightseeing, as we were, that won't matter much. Communication with the property manager is great. They are friendly and prompt. The caution, through no fault of Avantstay, is that parking is a headache! Overall, we recommend this property!

Great weekend away

This place was near perfect! Comfortable, central, well equipped and spme nice treats too. Only downside was it wasnt well insulated from noise (a neighbour was using a circular saw one morning from 2am, and the garbage trucks sounded like they were in the room with me). Otherwise, it was perfect and I would 10000% stay here again!

The AvantStay Team were so helpful and responsive, especially upon realizing I left my iPad behind. They immediately recovered and shipped it to me. Super location in the Cove area of La Jolla. Would definitely stay again.

Location location location

This property is in the perfect location, walking distance to everywhere from the beach to the museum and everything in between. We used our rental car one time to get to and from Legoland. Close to numerous restaurants and cafe's. The property is well equipped and would recommend to family and friends. Spotless! Bonus* They partner with a delivery service i.e. alcohol, snacks and convenience items that deliver in 30 min.......

Great location for a quick getaway

Condo as advertised. Avant Stay property management communicated steps and procedure clearly and stay was seamless. We did not take advantage of the concierge services. - but in hindsight would have been useful - especially the fridge stocking part. One thing to note is that it can be pretty noisy in the mornings with seemingly daily trash truck pickups in the back alley.

Amazing location

Really great rental unit in an amazing location! Very comfortable accommodations with everything you need to make you feel at home. Right in the middle of La Jolla by all the great restaurants, just a few minutes walk to the cove and other great beaches. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Nice but noisy

Clean, we'll maintained property however we did not sleep that well because it was just too noisy. It would be nice if the water filter worked in the refrigerator however the Brita worked ok.
