We've added over 1,000 square feet of synthetic decking with an outdoor shower stall and a foot shower! One of the original 'flat-tops' in Southern Shores - this airy, bright duplex is across the street from the beach access (15 yards), and has the flexibility of accommodating small or large groups. Units separated by double doors. Each unit has been modernized and upgraded - south unit has access ramp and handrail in bath. Rent both units together and have a four bedroom two bath cottage, with two living areas and space for up to 8 people. $185 discount off total rent if both units rented together. NOTE: This is a duplex with a shared wall. If you are bringing a dog with you, please be considerate of the guests in the unit next door and minimize barking indoors as much as possible. The house listing is accurate and in a perfect location. Being in Southern Shores gives you the opportunity to go toward Duck/ Corolla or the Nags Head direction. The beach entrance is right across the street. You’re so close, you can sometimes hear the waves. We had a great week! We didn’t have neighbors most of the week, but the walls are thin (which is mentioned in listing). You can hear people talking and doing things in the kitchen. It wasn’t too bad, but something I would have been more concerned about with a baby vs our dog making noise. Thankfully, we only had two nights with neighbors. ##### Erin B.
