We had to kill a little cockroach in the room but the guy at the front desk had beauuutiful blue eyes and they switched our room, so we have nothing to say, it was a good excuse to go back to see the front desk attendant. Oh and the wifi did not work. But still awesome front desk attendant.

Don’t go, it’s a trap!
Don't ever go there if you value your money and your mental health. Staff is extremely rude and incompetent, nothing works properly, rooms are as dark as a motel room (and motels are cheaper and you get what you paid for!). Nothing is included, taxes are crazy. $400 USD a night when not a single drink is included is basically stealing. The resort is huge, the sea might be very far from your room and you'll end up with a parking view. The beach is basically made of concrete with sand poured over it. Don't go there. One of my worst stays ever.

Good morning, I want to thank you for staying with us, and we appreciate your feedback. Southernmost Beach Resort offers many different room categories, from our entry level Deluxe Rooms to our Premier Ocean Front Rooms. Based upon the room category reserved would determine the location and view from your room. I do see that you stayed with us over a Holiday in which the room rates, are higher, and you booked into the Deluxe Room Category, in which this is our entry level room class, they do not feature a Water View. Once again thank you for staying with us.

Despite no mention of it on the website or during check-in, the private beach was undergoing construction, a fact discovered only upon arrival. Despite seeking confirmation prior to booking, the resort denied any ongoing construction, yet the presence of a massive crane, drill, and closure of the beach contradicted this assurance. While the resort offered chairs and umbrellas at the public beach, it was disappointing to feel misled. Furthermore, the public beach is more of a cove due to the pier and hotel wall. There was massive amounts of seaweed in the water and on the beach which started to stink from rot and was not pleasant to swim in. Despite these setbacks, our stay in the adult-only guest houses was satisfactory. Check-in was delayed for a few hours due to issues with the air conditioner and room safe, we were comped two drinks which in our opinion was not enough compensation. Especially when you consider the cost of the rooms. Moreover, the provided breakfast and snacks surpassed our expectations. Conveniently located within walking distance of Duvall Street, we found plenty of dining options to explore during our week-long stay.

The staff had two speeds, slow and comatose. There was never a sense of urgency. The pool bartender was aloof, and non responsive. I asked if he could turn on music, there was nothing on but the TVs which were showing judge judy. All I can say is floating in the pool sipping on a cocktail is not judge judy worthy. He was busy mingling with some young girls and said Im busy cleaning up the bar area give me a second and i will turn it on. There was only one roll of toilet paper, it was the one already on the roller and partially used. Two women in a room, drinking from dawn to dusk and opting for no room cleaning the after the first night equals at minimum two rolls. The hotel restaurant food wasnt great, my friend had MULTIPLE ISSUES with her room and got two free meals which she shared with me, even free wasnt worth eating there. Our last night and hoorah the pool bar, which was suppose to close at 8 pm, closed at 730 pm. We had to play hide and seek the bartender, we found him hiding behind a closed door, said they closed early because not enough people at pool. I was not impressed with Key West, food, beach, entertainment or establishment drinks or staff/food/service be it our hotel, restaurants or any other place. One thing that was good, the commotion on the ocean staff member, never got his name, young blonde gentlemen, he was great.

Great place to stay. Just be advised if you book this place through a 3rd party (like this one), you likely will not see any mention of resort fees thar are tagged on for each night. It is a bit frustrating that it really offers you very little other than private beach access and towels. There is food and beverages on the resort, but it is all extra and VERY expensive.

This is a beautiful resort. 3 pools, right next to beach. The weather was sunny and hot each day when we were there; walkable to many shops and places to eat. Was our 1st visit to Key West and won't be our last.

Nothing there i didn't like, Except the front desk customer service. None smiled. They gave me impression they were having bad day. Agitated. Arrived 3-1/2 hours b4 check in. So they said still working on our room. She said she would text me when ready. At 4 minutes after 4pm, we're still sitting in lobby & no text. I looked up & none were busy. Just congregating. Upon my asking her Again, she replied, yes sir it's ready. So with us sitting right in front of her near 4 hours, WHY didn't she notify us? That was my main issue. But the phone never worked in our room. They were told twice. Never fixed. And lastly, at the rates they charge, you'd think your room would have a microwave to reheat leftovers.

Beautiful resort and amenities. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Bikes on site to rent, spend time in two of the pools had excellent service, live music, very relaxing! Beach front views with access. Cafe was convenient on site. Duval was steps away. Butterfly museum is a must see across the street. Would definitely stay everytime visiting key west!

We had help from Connor confirming our reservations and giving us an upgrade. He was so kind and helpful. This place is so big and places to stay across the street from each other. 1 block from the Southern Most Point. Very clean and comfortable. We did hear the chickens/roosters early in the morning but fell back to sleep right away. The pools are very nice and bars at the one we went to. Complementary bottle of wine and a $30.00 credit off our food at their restaurant. They also have a concierge to help with any suggestions around town. Lots to do and see here. This place is where it is all happening. We walked and walked. Might have been good to look into riding the bikes or another type of transportation around Duval Street. There are mopeds and other types of vehicles to rent to enjoy the sites. Once we went into our room quiet and peaceful. Great place.

I was amazed at how large this resort is. It has 3 pools, 3 bars and a beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could spend your entire vacation here without leaving. The restaurant on the beach was a plus. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the pool and beach furniture. Had a nice stay, thank you.

Loved the property! Everything about staying here is wonderful, our was upgraded to a balcony with a slight ocean view. Would highly recommend this property and would stay again.
