"Took my son for an overnight trip and we had a very nice time. Checking in went fairly well, considering how busy it was and the staff was able to get everyone in smoothly and quickly. My room wasn't ready at check in time, but I was treated to a free large pizza and a 2 liter of soda in compensation for the wait. My son and I did the Pup Pass for 35.00 extra which included a free 5.00 voucher to the arcade, a scoop of ice cream (and they are VERY generous with that scoop), a cup of candy from the candy shop and also a free stuffed animal from Build-a-Bear that my son got to make himself. All the staff have been great, but the ladies who worked in the Build a Bear shop really stood out because were so nice and patient with my son. He is autistic and loud noises really bother him, so instead of having him use the stuffing machine (which is pretty loud), they gave him one that was on the shelf. The only con would be that the drink machine was completely out of drinks. The room was nice and clean and the hotel itself was nice and cool as well. We will definitely be back ☺️"

"This is a decent, extended stay sort of place. I was only stopping for a night. It's location in the hotel and restaurant area in Kansas City, Kansas makes it convenient for a night's stop on a longer road trip - or for someone staying longer for business or visit. The staff seem competent. It's showing slight signs of wear, such as minor damage to furniture, but comfortable and spacious."

"It was a great place to stay. Very convenient right next to shopping and dinning. So no need to drive anywhere. The GM checked us in and he was great. "

"It was very noisy & hard to sleep because of the traffic & you could hear all of the people in the other rooms really late until after midnight. We only stay here because the location is perfect when we have to be at KU med early in the morning for appointments & procedures. The breakfast also is nice."

"The hotel is dated. The outside is run down and needs updating. The rooms have been updated but looks like they cut corners to save money. Trying to charge my credit card again a day after we checked out when it was charged out a day before we checked out."
