Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Kampung Ulu Sepri?
The best area to stay in Kampung Ulu Sepri is within the vicinity of the Sepri Recreational Park, as this is the primary attraction and offers the most developed facilities for visitors.

This area is centred around the park entrance and the main natural swimming pools, making it very convenient for those looking to enjoy the park's offerings. You'll find a few local eateries and basic guesthouses scattered along the main road leading to the park. The general layout is rural, with lush greenery and streams.

Families will find this area particularly suitable due to its direct access to the Sepri Recreational Park. The park features natural pools, picnic spots, and walking trails, providing ample opportunities for children and adults to enjoy the outdoors. Staying nearby means minimal travel time to and from these activities, making it easy to manage schedules with younger children.

For those seeking a quiet escape, the guesthouses and homestays just outside the immediate park entrance offer a peaceful retreat. These accommodations often provide a more personal experience, with some offering views of the surrounding countryside.
When is the best time to go to Kampung Ulu Sepri?
The best time to go to Kampung Ulu Sepri is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the surrounding nature or visiting the local farms. The weather is generally warm and pleasant, great for enjoying the kampung's relaxed pace.

Couples looking for a tranquil getaway will find this period particularly appealing. The clearer skies and comfortable temperatures are great for leisurely strolls through the village or simply unwinding by the river. It's a great time to enjoy the natural beauty without the interruption of heavy downpours.

For families, the dry season offers the best conditions for outdoor adventures. Children can enjoy playing outdoors without worrying about rain, and it makes visiting attractions like the nearby Jeram Toi Waterfall a much more pleasant experience.
