"We selected and reserved a room with a river view and were assigned 105. The actual river was not visible from our windows or balcony. That was a little disappointing. The room itself was very nice and well maintained. The food in the 506 Bistro was excellent, both the daily breakfasts and the two dinners we had there. The wings with maple were especially tasty. The staff we engaged were nice. We probably will not visit Woodstock again now that we spent a few days there, but if we did I would stay there again but not pay a premium price for a river view."

"Best option for Dartmouth College. Very nice property, rooms, location, etc. Only grievance is that it is undergoing some roofing and facade renovations that were not mentioned or warned about during the reservation process."

"The house was beautiful and comfortable. My only complaint is that the rental company kept giving me conflicting information about when I would be sent check-in details. For example, I got a text message that said I had been sent an email with check-in details, but there was no email. I sent a query about this and was told that such details would not be available until two days before check-in. Two days before check-in, I had to send another request for the information. On the upside, they were very quick about responding."

"The inn and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The room was comfortable, and the restaurant on the premises was convenient but also had a great breakfast, well worth purchasing. The location was also great relative to downtown."

"Surprisingly affordable, in the midst of downtown White River Jct., our stay in this historic hotel was pleasant and charming, the room clean and inviting, and the staff welcoming and helpful. Check in and check out were a breeze. Parking is still free for guests, and a breakfast voucher is available to use at the restaurant."
