"This was an amazing stay. Renee is a great host. She is clean, personable, and professional. The home is very cozy, and while still a work in progress, the outdoor area is beautiful and teeming with potential. This is not a hotel or a motel, understanding this, do not expect the starchy atmosphere of those places, but instead appreciate the friendly, homely vibe. If you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced, clean, and cozy, this is a great spot."

New Haven Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location in New Haven and very walkable to a lot of great restaurants. There is a parking deck across the street for a fee with adjoining bridge on the second floor between the parking garage and the hotel. Friendly staff at the lobby and beautiful lobby. Space. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Very clean and quiet on the 5 th floor. "
"The house was charming, very spacious and clean, had everything we needed even a back yard with a nice seating area and the neighborhood was quiet, easy to access. Not far from places to eat or groceries. Aliene was an excellent host, she answered my text quickly everytime and was very gracious to help us out when we needed it. I would recommend her to anyone needing a nice clean quiet house to stay in. If we have tournaments in Connecticut again next year I'm definitely booking her house. "

3 Mi to Dtwn: Gem w/ Patio & Fire Pit in New Haven
10/10 Excellent
"It's hard to find a place that sleeps 10 people in CT. The house was clean with very nice bedding and ample room for all of us. The rooms were comfortable and private and very clean. Like little hotel rooms for everyone! The back patio and fire pit was nice to sit at in the evening and relax. The kitchen was well equipped with very nice appliances and refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well and keep the place very cool even though it was very hot out the week we were there. You can drive almost anywhere in an hour. We visited Mystic, Hammonasset, and Harford area. We also went to the Pez Factory, fished out of Branford, and visited some of the Yale museums which were very close. "
"The overall stay was fine once we got in and cooled he place. Beds and linens were nice, it was clean, and we slept well. The check-in was challenging in a few ways. The initial entrance to the building had side by side driveways with another set of apartments, with the chosen lane on the left, and that could've been shared up front. Then the building did not have an elevator and dragging suitcases up the stairs was unexpected. Upon entering, there was no AC on, but we got them on and cooled after 10 minutes. Ice maker didn't work, and TV did not have directions to figure out Netflix. There was a strip of metal on the door, assumably to keep folks out from jimmying the lock. In shutting the door the first time leaving, my husband wrecked his fingers and hand on the metal strip, which caused him to bleed. Perhaps a little message on the door or warning somewhere would avoid that for someone else."
