"Room was clean. Stuff was basically OK. AC worked but it wasn’t crazy hot either - so can’t say how it would be in high temps. We did need to jimmy the vent a little to aim it, it was kinda broken that way. The fridge worked. The TV worked. The WiFi worked. The pool was decent. Stuff was a little rundown - but not terrible. Over all not disappointing, it was a good value. The bed was stiff. Biggest complaint was the pillows were terrible and there were no extras in the room. Staff was very friendly and overall not a bad stay."

"Very close to the west entrance and groceries, so great location. Perfect sized kitchen and facilities for our needs. Will likely stay again in the future."

"The house worked out perfectly for our group and our one night stay . We were minutes away from the Joshua Tree visitor center. Had a great time playing ping pong and relaxed in the hot tub. "

"Way too expensive for what it is. Room not very clean, staff not super friendly/helpful. One example: We were in the pool and noticed that there were no towels in the rack provided. No one had swam today and it was 2PM so would be surprising if they were out for the day, so likely never restocked. We asked them to get some and it took 45 min. The air was cold and my 4yo daughter didn't want to get out out and dry off in the air - I didn't either! When they brought them in they brought them in lazily, chatting the whole time and walking slowly. Nothing was going on at the hotel and it isn't like they washed them in that time, so it was likely just a matter of carrying them from A to B on the premises. The overall trip was like this - great in the pictures, nice enough, but for $400 a night (plus a $20 something a day amenity fee I didn't bargain on!) I'd never go here again."

"This property was everything we needed as a base for exploring Joshua Tree NP. We especially enjoyed the backyard outdoor space and gas grill. The kitchen was fully equipped with good quality dishes, pots and pans, flatware, serving ware, etc. The washer and dryer were handy. There were games available to play, a phone charging station and snacks! Every little detail helped make our stay stress free and enjoyable! We highly recommend this property. "

" Bright, airy, and well appointed. Small details showed the commitment of th host to provide a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable with lovely sheets and great pillows. We enjoyed hanging out in th cool of the house with the record player and eclectic selection of old records. We enjoyed the BBQ, bocce ball, hot tub and lounge chairs. The house next door is quite run down, but we did not notice any problems and it was a very quiet stay. We would definitely stay again. "
