« The property was in a beautiful location and inside was lovely and clean. Also everything you need in the cupboards Garden area was great and a lot of the farm animals came to say hello Nice walks nearby and other lovely places to visit by car. Would recommend people who are looking for a peaceful stay especially if you have a dog »

« We had an enjoyable stay in a clean cosy place but the tiny touches were missing that we have become accustomed to using other holiday booking platforms (such as toilet roll and soap). The booking process through vrbo however was not smooth and the photographs of the accommodation were very misleading, so it's unlikely I'll use vrbo again. I spent over 2 hours finding out who to pay (not vrbo it turns out!), struggled to simply confirm the stay and find out how to access the info to get into...

« Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep. »

« There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age. »

« A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog. »

"Hôtel charmant et calme avec un personnel très sympathique... Un petit plus pour les 2 personnes qui gèrent l'accueil... Le soir, notre arrivée s'est très bien passée, la personne a pris le temps de bien renseigner les françaises que nous sommes et le matin du départ, une personne adorable a réussi à gérer une situation compliquée suite à un souci informatique...Le repas était délicieux...Tout était parfait "
