Villa Alegria - Javea

Villa Alegria is a classic white-washed Spanish villa on the Mediterranean coast of the Costa Blanca. Fabulous beaches, hiking and cycling are all in close proximity of Villa Alegria, or spend your day lounging around the private pool in comfort and relaxation. Villa Alegria offers five double bedrooms and three bathrooms, two kitchens, two lounging areas as well as an outdoor pergola lounging area, outdoor kitchen, and barbeque for all of your cooking needs.
VILLA DESCRIPTION:

Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area:
The large 5m x 10m private pool is surrounded by a large, spacious terrace with a large Moroccan-inspired pergola lounge where you can relax with a good book or on one of the sun loungers. With the outdoor summer kitchen, it is well equipped for al-fresco dining, containing a fridge, sink, dishwasher, island bar and barbeque. Next to the summer kitchen is an outdoor shower. There are tables and chairs located on ground floor balcony, overlooking the pool. There is an outdoor toilet and sink.

Entrance:
Once inside the grounds, there is a gated driveway for private parking.

Living Space:
The main open-plan lounge/dining area is off the entrance hall. It's spacious with traditional furnishings and the beamed ceilings add character. There is a large dining table for seating for ten people. Patio doors and large windows allow plenty of light to flood the room, as well as provide access to the outdoor terrace. The main fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the entrance hall and has a door leading to a utility area and stairs up to the roof terrace. The lower level, pool level dining/living area is equipped with a kitchenette, which has a hob, fridge/ freezer, microwave and sink.

Bedrooms/ Bathrooms:
The main floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. A further double bedroom has plenty of wardrobe space and overlooks the pool. A third bedroom provides twin beds which can also be converted to a super-king bed and also provides large wardrobe space. There is a shared bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Down the external staircase, there is a lower level annexe with a twin bedroom and a double bedroom which share a separate bathroom. There is also an open plan living/dining room and kitchenette.

LOCATION:
The Villa is located in the Adsubia area of Javea with a couple of restaurants a few minutes away by car. It is also less than a 5 minute's drive to the Arenal Beach. The beach-side promenade is lined with a never-ending choice of restaurants, bars and shops, overlooking the bay. A choice of alternative beaches plus Javea Port and the Old Town are also within a short drive.

Local Markets and shopping:
There is a supermarket just over a mile away to stock up on those holiday essentials. The market comes to Javea every Thursday morning, which is a great place to buy local products and clothing.
Bars and Restaurants:
Javea has so much choice when it comes to bars and restaurants, ranging from Michelin starred options to simple tapas places. There are several traditional venues where you can enjoy a tasty Spanish paella or a steak from Galicia, known for its top-quality beef. There are plenty of seafood options and fresh, locally caught seafood is available in many places, caught right in the bay of Javea.
You will find many restaurant options in the Arenal Promenade, the Port, as well as the historic old town.

Beaches:
The Arenal Beach is marvellous for children with the shallow waters and it has been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness. Both La Calla and La Grava beaches are within a short drive, if you fancy a change of scenery, or why not try kayaking or paddle boarding at Granadella beach, a pebble beach which has been voted one of the best beaches in Spain for several years running.

Family Fun:
There is so much to do as a family including go-kart racing, horse riding, water sports, mini golf, tennis, and padel tennis ( a cross between tennis and squash). Alternatively, you could simply stay and relax at the villa and enjoy your own private pool.

Places of Interest:
Javea is set at the most easterly tip of Spain approximately the same distance between the beautiful cities and airports of Valencia and Alicante for flying and traveling ease. The old town offers historical tours, as well as chances to stroll through the shady streets and view the white-washed houses of the town. Along the high street, the Calle Mayor, you will find plenty of boutique shops and restaurants.

Golf:
There are 2 golf courses local to Javea. Club de Golf Javea is a 9-hole golf course or you can visit the award-winning Marriott La Sella Golf and Spa Resort.

Other Activities:
Mount Montgo rises above Javea with its orange and grey rock resembling the head of an elephant. There are many signposted walks on the slopes of this National Park and you can even climb the mountain if you wish.
Villa Alegria is also located 500 metres from Granadella Natural Park, in which you can enjoy strolls through the pathways of this natural park with 360 degree views of the sea and mountains.
