« We chose this location because we had honeymooned at this same location 35 years ago. The location is great with direct access to the beach and pool, along with many restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. The hosts never sent check in information, so 2 hours before check in time I reached out and received a code for the unit. « The property was as expected. A little issue at check in, I appreciated the door code well in advance but when arriving it would not work, after calling they were very helpful and got into the room fairly quickly as they had replaced the lock and assembly and therefor had a new code....if you sent me the code 2 weeks in advance as a common practice wouldn't you think to send an updated email to the future guests? « We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. The location was fabulous—close enough to walk around at night to nearby bars and restaurants, but the unit itself was still quiet and felt very safe. We don’t drink, but we still enjoyed being able to walk over in the evening and grab some finger foods and enjoy the atmosphere. « It was a really fun getaway for us. We've been going to Isle of Palms for 25 years with our children, grandchildren and even my 96 yr. old mother but this was just for us. The place was perfect for the two of us. Very close to the beach and restaurants. This is definitely a hidden gem. »

« Outdated and worn. Still has a vcr (not connected) by TV and a couch from same era. No deadbolt on door, just lock on knob. Easily opened door with credit card to open latch bolt. Had difficulty checking in, management company didn't answer messages on VRBO app. Later told me that host was "remote" and local custom is to use email instead of app!
