By far the worst hotel we stayed at in our 2 week trip to NZ
This hotel is in decline
We arrived to a hot, stuffy room - A/C was not working - we called reception, they came, fiddled with the A/C, said it was not working, offered one rickety standing fan that couldn't stand up, was underpowered, and randomly would shuf off - when we pointed all these out, the hapless staff was apologetic and said the manager was truly sory and would compensate us for our inconvenience - however, the next morning, they flat out refused to compensate anything. I really didnt care for the compensation that much, but the dishonesty and we-dont-care attitude of the management was apalling
Oh, and breakfast! or lack thereof - we paid for hot breakfast, except they said the restaurant was closed and offerred a bare bones continental breakfast instead, and refused to reimburse the difference in price
Overall, this hotel is in decline, thanks to poor, dishonest management, poor facilities and dont-care-for-customers attitude
