« House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. We took a couple of lovely walks from the property without having to get in the car. Would be nice suggestions: some basic kitchen condiments, hair dryer, screens, & a grab bar for the bathtub. « It was just what the doctor ordered, a month in a quiet (except for street traffic which we could not see, but could hear), wooded, seemingly remote location, that was very private. Lilac cottage is so sweet, a quintessential Maine cottage with good WiFi, 10 minutes from the great town of Bath and lots of parks and beaches. Mark was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You truly feel alone, yet connected. What a place! It’s stocked with lots of water....

« This was our 3rd vrbo stay in Harpswell and our first on Bailey Island. We went for part of the week on our own and cousins joined us there for a couple of days.
