« Beautiful property up in the mountain with excellent views that’s only a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Blackhawk and to the Golden Gate State national park. Also only a 40 minute drive to Red Rock amphitheater. The host Rowdy answered a few questions quickly as we arrived earlier than anticipated, he let us check in an hour early and was accommodating with quick responses. Would highly recommend this peaceful property! »

« We were extremely satisfied with our rental! It was our first time using VRBO and the host was super helpful. We got lost for a minute because we didn't have the exact cabin number, but host helped us as soon as we reached out. Everything in the cabin was clean and organized. The fire pit was our favorite spot. It certainly made our ski weekend less stressing and more relaxed because we were just minutes away from the fun. :) »

« Overall this place was fine, one of the older ones in the neighborhood. Couple things we experienced: The inside had some sort of smell we weren’t sure what it was but it was bad enough to make us get an air freshener; the propane connection to the propane tank on the grill is broken and sprays propane from the connection which is a major safety issue so we couldn’t grill; we couldn’t figure out how to use the ceiling fan but there was another one in there so all good. « Wonderful stay! We had 4 families staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location was steps away from the gondola so it was an easy walk each day (even in ski boots!). We were pleasantly surprised by how stocked everything was (there were plenty of paper goods, toiletries, towels, kitchen staples etc). The home had lots of high end touches that really made it even more special! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home and location to friends and family! »
