« The recently updated Blue Heron Cottage was neat and clean and the beds were truly comfortable. The cottage is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Colonial Beach. The attractions at Westmoreland State Park, including Fossil Beach, are a short drive away. »

« A lovely cottage for some true peace and quiet away from the city. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is built for someone short - so just beware if you are over 5’4” it’s going to require a lot of slouching! Overall, a truly peaceful stay. »

The house was super clean, has lots of charm, was nice and cool, and the location was perfect. We loved sitting on the front porch and gazing at the water. The house is located super close to the beach, town, and the bay. We were so happy to be able have our dog join us in the house as well! This is a gem in sweet little Colonial Beach! »
