« When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service. Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress. »

« The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather. »

« Lovely place to stay very clean good accommodation very quiet everything you need and parking just off from our stay all well lit and clean a shop on site which is well stocked and some lovely areas to walk around only thing I think lets it down is the on sight bar very expensive and food not very good given it’s central position it should pull in people we have booked for September too so looking forward to coming back to Filey lovely place »

« We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay. »

« Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park. »
