« The Fern House is a very beautiful, clean and cozy home. It was our home base to the many places we visited. (Sequoia zoo/park, Trees of mystery, Grizzly creek, and Samoa beach) The Fern House provided us with quiet place to sleep. Even during the day it was quiet. It was well equipped/supplied. « I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return. »

« We ran out of coffee filters and dishwasher soap. There was no pepper in pepper shaker or on shelf. It would have been nice to have oil be a staple. Primary bathroom ran out of conditioner. Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have a couple of throw blankets so we could snuggled in them and used less heat. »

« We really enjoyed the incredible views and the location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do, but it felt private and relaxing. Just a five minute drive to Clam Beach for beachcombing and beautiful sunsets when weather allows! The home was comfortable, the beds were great, and the management team was responsive and easy to work with. We’d be happy to stay here again! »
