« We were looking for a place that we could bring our dog, was peaceful, near water, and mainly relax. This bnb is just that plus more. The decor inside is romantic, cozy, and whimsical. Waking up to the sunrise and mountians as your alarm clock was incredible. Enjoying a cup of coffee or beverage of choice on the front deck and seeing the occasional deer, IMPRESSED! Total peace and serenity. We cant wait to go back. Thanks Liz!!!!! »

« House was perfect for our group. Jeanine was very easy to reach with questions and prompt with responses. House is at the top of the Chimney Hill complex- very close to the clubhouse and probably walkable if had been a bit warmer. Distance from Mt Snow was an easy 20 min drive. Well equipped kitchen, large table, clean, spacious bathrooms, large basement area for the kids, cozy living room with fireplace for the adults. Hiking trails in complex for the non-skiers. Overall a great house! »

« As advertised: Beautiful Mountain vieews- Close to Manchester where there is plenty to do….. one of the best book sites we have ever found anywhere.Great hiking trails nearby and a solid history brings it all together beautifully. »

« A house that is lived in but beautifully put together for guest rental. Warm neighborhood, wonderful hiking paths and fixings for S'mores and tomatoes from the garden were left for us. What a treat. »

« Stayed here for a weekend with a family of 19. Everyone had a great time! Great onsite amenities and nearby places to explore. Loved that each room had a private bath as we had multiple families, some with little kids. I wish the kitchen area was bigger as we spent most of the time there, especially in the mornings making breakfast. Host was very responsive and accommodating! »

« The house was generously sized to fit our group of 12 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and explore. The pond was fantastic and we all fell in love with Gary the resident duck. Indoor pool and hot tub were excellent and clean. The views from the porch were incredible! We had some very hot weather and the AC kept up pretty well. If planning to cook and serve own meals would recommend bringing large disposable bowls and serving trays. If catering, highly recommend Chickadee Catering....

« This was my third time staying in the Watervliet Retreat. Like the prior two occasions, the space was spotless, had every amenity needed, and was very comfortable. This host has thought of every detail and has ensured everything goes smooth and superb for guests. I will definitely be back! »

« The Roost is a very fun diner themed apartment which is located a convenient distance from Albany and Saratoga. It was clean and spacious. My only complaint was that the one bedroom has a double and twin beds not two double beds. We had plenty of space, but the beds weren’t exactly as described. I would have loved a few notes on local restaurants, grocery stores etc - and some more detailed information about the space- but it didn’t negatively impact our stay in any way- would definitely...
