"This place was the kind of place you expect from an Ibis hotel. Clean, simple, nicely decorated for a reasonable price. It was only a 5-m Ute walk to the Donnersbergerbrucke station and a couple of S-Bahn stops from old town so location is perfect. ATM machine across the street and a grocery store on the way to the train station. TV didn’t seem to work in our room, but it could have been user error."

"Hotel Krone is our go-to destination whenever we visit Munich. The staff is wonderful and always goes out of their way to make us feel right at home, including our dog. As an added bonus, the hotel bar serves some of the best drinks we have had anywhere. Just a wonderful place all around."

"Well lit (better than most hotels), clean and comfortably. Provision of crockery seemed a bit random. Our main grumble was with the laundry room - only two washing machines and dryers for the whole hotel. No explanations of the system in English (or for that matter in German) downstairs in the laundry room itself, not even a note by the phone that reception was on extension 9. We couldn't get the App to work and noted that it has been extremely badly reviewed by others. The whole thing...

"Good hotel that is close to the tram. Good service and decently sized rooms. Breakfast however is less than mediocre and well overpriced. "

"The personnel were awesome. The hotel was close to a lot of restaurants and close to downtown. It was very clean and beautiful rooms. They also have a restaurant with good food and drinks. I will definitely return."
