"This place was simply fantastic. The lobby and my room were simply breathtakingly gorgeous. Some other reviews mention having had issues with rude staff but I had no such problems and was very pleased with every employee I encountered. I also took advantage of the hamman and massage and would highly recommend it. Lastly, the rooftop dining area offers a nice view and the breakfast is quite good. I would definitely stay here again."

"Location was central. Room were clean, comfortable and had amenities. Riad was beautiful. Breakfast was abundant. Parking is 5 min away for 40MAD for 24h. Close to the blue gate. Wifi was down while we were guests but otherwise, stay was comfortable. Front desk staff was very responsive and friendly. I would love to stay here again. "

"La habitación muy limpia y ordenada, el Riad es muy bonito, si quieres conocer realmente cómo es uno Marroquí es ideal. Todos en el staff muy atentos, gran hospitalidad, nos apoyaron con un guía turístico, varias recomendaciones sobre la ciudad y todas muy acertadas, buscan mucho que te sientas cómodo como en casa. El desayuno muy bueno, se preocupan porque sea de tu agrado el mismo, es muy completo y sobre todo con buen sazón. La ubicación del mismo es muy buena y accesible. Lo recomiendo 10/10"

"You have to keep in mind that the property is over 100 years old. It was a bit dusty and not as clean as we usually book - this did not appear to be neglect of property just fact it is really old. The bathroom had a sewer smell all the time that the staff “helped” with scented candles. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to experience a traditional very old Riad then this will work. It’s hard to find in the Medina ( but everything is) BUT the Riad will send a porter to find you and bring you in. They arranged a traditional hammam for me and it was an amazing experience. In the end we chalked it up to adventure and embraced the experience. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."

"The staff were phenomenal - the owner was lovely, Latifa was incredibly friendly and helpful, the gentleman who ran the breakfast on some days was so kind. The breakfast was lovely and a fabulous start to the day. The riad itself is breathtaking and like being in a museum - it's gorgeous. Our room was one of the highlights of our trip! Parking was a little difficult to figure out, until we called and spoke to Latifa directly. Hotels.com/expedia was not helpful figuring this out. The secured parking lot that should be used is the following : https://share.google/8jnoB3bYX8dpLt4ZN. It's Bin Lamboun parking lot. This place is highly recommended. Only disadvantage was the distance to the main strip of Fes - but we appreciated the walks through the medina everyday. You can't eat all that lamb tagine and not take a few steps to burn it off!"

"Property is beautiful. The pool area, even though we didn’t get to use it because of the weather, is pristine. The stairwells and the balconies, everything is clean and decorated beautifully. The service is OFF THE CHARTS! The guys that work there are exceptional and go above and beyond to help with bags, directions, anything. Breakfast is AMAZING!!!! My only complaint would be the handheld shower situation. It has one of those half glass shower doors, so basically the entire bathroom can get flooded with water every time you shower. And there is pretty much a limit of only getting one towel per person. We were ready to go to one of the souks two actually buy towels so we could keep the floor dry."

"This is one of the highlights of our two-week trip to Morocco, and overall one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was truly incredible, even by Moroccan standards (the Moroccan hospitality is unparalleled and we became accustomed to incredible welcoming service and attentive service throughout, but the Palais Amani team were on another level.) Nothing was out of the question if we asked, and they knew who we were from the very first day and always checked in to see how we were doing. We enjoyed 4 days here and would have loved even more time, from doing a spa package (pampering paradise for two), to lunch in the courtyard or on the roof, to evening drinks before dinner, to just sitting enjoying views over Fes from the rooftop. A truly beautiful hotel and memorable stay, we would (and already have!) recommend it to anyone going to Morocco in the future."
