"Over priced student dorm. USB sockets that don't work in the room. Power socket that didn't work. No kettle or drink making facilities You have to pay for a vile cup of machine coffee from the reception. (better to head to sainsburys round the corner or even McD's tastes way better than this place) Breakfast had no coffee machine available due to poor stock control for the 'machine'. Instead there was a small jar of instant. If you wanted milk you had to root to the back of the buffet bar and grab the plastic milk bottle (they can't even afford to put the milk in a jug!) The 'continental breakfast' offering consisted of over baked bread and croissants but raw in the middle, and chocolate chip muffins that clearly hadn't had chance to defrost thoroughly. As for hygiene in the dining area, seems the one girl was afraid to get her over priced fake nails wet and the sanitizing spray was just for show. Overall.. they are not worth the money even if you joined the club. Stick to Premier inn or Travelodge even if its just for the room drink facilities!"

"Good property, clean and amenities are good. Staff helpful. Could be more welcoming - like acknowledging that a guest is waiting or excusing themselves for a few minutes. It is awkward if someone is fixed to the screen and you are waiting for a while without the person smiling or saying something. Also reception staff should be well versed with Expedia bookings. We were told there was no breakfast included so we had to prove it through the email and then had to share details separately to another email to the hotel. A little inconvenient if it is 11.45 at night and you have a child in tow. Also the conditioner ran out in the morning so should be better stocked. Otherwise helpful staff, good breakfast, spacious room. The lobby is nice."

"Excellent location in Glasgow with restaurants and shopping walking distance. During my 2 night stay, I didn’t receive housekeeping service which was frustrating as I left my room at 11a, returned at 7p and a housekeeping cart was parked 2 doors away from my room. Front desk was able to provide what I needed."

"Staff were excellent, but the experience was badly let down by the condition of the room which was in dire need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was poor with a toaster which took an age to lightly brown the bread, croissants which were clearly not fresh and bananas which were rotten throughout. Such a shame, because it's location was excellent. We definitely expected better."

"Starting with the good points: hotel was centrally located, kitchenette was great to have, bathroom was perfect with seperate shower and bath, good space and modern. Staff friendly. Negatives: no air conditioning which was more of a problem when it was probably the hottest day of the year in glasgow! Crockery in the kitchen had been returned to the cupboard dirty, and our door lock 'ran out of battery' - with 4 trips to the room required and 2 games of pool until we could get back in. The staff were however really apologetic and genuinely a friendly bunch all around. The car park is far from functional and alternative parking is recommended, however the partner carpark was also an issue for us regarding height restrictions."

"I gave this hotel a weak rating not because there was anything wrong with the hotel rather, It was my dining experience that was so horrible!!!! What the restaurant really needs is some competition with other dining options nearby. They are the only restaurant available which is apparent by the poor quality of food, high prices and really inefficient service. The servers were all very nice but they clearly need a lot more training. A very disappointing dining experience with a high price tag adding to the injury."
