« This quaint apartment suited my needs as a home base for a solo fishing trip to the area. It was conveniently located in the heart of Texas City. The ungated apartment parking lot initially made me nervous, but I never experienced any issues despite much expensive fishing gear being visible in my truck. Being able to see it out the window of the apartment helped me feel better as well. The property manager remained in constant contact and was helpful as needed. Overall a good value. »

« The rooms were very clean and it was very close to restaurants and the ocean. It’s best to get a room with a window facing the ocean. The room I had had a window but it was facing another wall. I didn’t like that…I couldn’t tell if it was day or night. The room was in excellent condition. »

« The room is very average for the price. The personnel at the reception was also average. One person was very friendly but wasn’t very competent. The other one, later in the day, was not that friendly and didn’t seem to know what smiling was. We couldn’t dial a local number from our room. Not that we didn’t know how to do it but because the system wasn’t functioning properly. When we asked her to do it from the main desk we were certain we were bothering her and she put the phone at our disposal...
